Meet Our Founder
Garrette Belanger, PharmD
Owner & Lead Pharmacist
Garrette is the owner and lead pharmacist of Orange Pill Pharmacy. He earned his PharmD from Wayne State University in 2008, along with a BSc in Chemistry from the University of Virginia and an MSc in Chemical Biology from the University of Michigan. With over 15 years of pharmacy experience, he has worked across diverse clinical settings that give him unique insights into patient care.
His career began at Detroit Receiving Hospital, where he worked as a clinical staff pharmacist for 8 years. He then specialized as an Ambulatory Care Pharmacist at the Gateway Clinic, serving primary care patients in emergency room settings. Most recently, he spent 7 years at an independent pharmacy specializing in auto injury and pediatric patients with complex medical needs.

A Bitcoin enthusiast since 2017, Garrette founded Orange Pill Pharmacy in 2025 to blend his passion for cryptocurrency with his pharmacy expertise. He believes Bitcoin's deflationary nature can help drive down medication costs for patients over time.
